JAMMU, Dec 31: For the forthcoming 35th National Games to be held at Kerala from January 31 to February 15, 2015, 5 players of Wushu Association of J&K have qualified for the said event, with 4 in Sanshou and 1 in Taolu.
The weight categories in Sanshou event are 56 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg and 75 kg and Women Taichiquan in Taolu.
The selection trials for the finalization of the State team will be held on January 2 and January 3, 2015 at 4 pm at Judo Hall MA Stadium, Jammu. The Association has advised all the athletes interested to participate in the selection trials to register their names with Kuldeep Handoo, general secretary of Wushu Association of J&K personally or on mobile No:9419143434.
The qualification was based on the performance in 22nd Senior National Wushu Championship held at Rajasthan.
