JAMMU, Feb 21: World Women Awakening Organization (WWAO) in collaboration with MIER College of Education organized a seminar on the theme ‘Bhartiyata Mein Asheelta Ka Atikraman.’
Sneh Bali, national vice president WWAO; Dr. Renu Gupta, president; Prabha Jain, general secretary; Shashi Sharma, treasurer and Sarla Kohli, former president WWAO Jammu chapter were present on the occasion. Along with these, members of WWAO including Veena Handa, Esther William, Vineeta Sharma, Veenu Khanna and Prabha Sharma also graced the occasion.
HoDs and Deputy HoDs of UG and PG Departments at MIER College of Education along with faculty and students also participated in the seminar.
Dr. Renu Gupta extended a warm welcome to the speakers, WWAO members, distinguished guests and audience.
Speakers at the seminar were Dr. Sindhu Kapoor, Dean School of Social Science, Cluster University, Jammu; Advocate Purnima Sharma, former Deputy Mayor JMC; Dr. Nirmal Kamal, former Head, Department of Economics, University of Jammu and Advocate Deepali Arora.
The speakers threw light on ‘Bhartiyata’ and called it a philosophy of life.
A token of appreciation was presented to the speakers. The seminar ended with a lively interactive session.
Prabha Jain purposed a formal vote of thanks and Komal Sharma, Assistant Professor, MIER College of Education conducted the programme.
