CHANDIGARH: Xiaomi, country’s number one smartphone and smart TV brand, on Monday announced to launch its flagship Redmi K20 series smartphones ‘Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro’, Redmi 7A economy smartphones and other ecosystem products here.
Speaking on the ocassion, Xiaomi India Chief Marketing Officer(CMO) Anuj Sharma said Redmi K20 series features a 6.39 inch, Full HD+ AMOLED Horizon Display with seventh generation fingerprint scanner, protected by curved Corning Gorilla Glass five(front & back), 20MP pop-up selfie camera, incredible 91.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio, powered by 4000 mAh battery with fast charging facility.
While Redmi K20 Pro sports the flagship octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, offering blistering performance whereas Redmi K20 boasts the all-new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor and come with an AI triple camera setup, comprising of a 48MP main camera, 8MP telephoto and a 13MP wide-angle, he shared.
Both phones will go on sale starting Monday across Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Homes and will be available on all offline retail channels starting July 30, 2019, he said and added that Redmi K20 Pro will be available for Rs 27,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant, Rs 30,999 for the 8GB/256GB, Redmi K20 Rs 21,999 for the 6GB/64GB variant and Rs 23,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant in Flame Red, Glacier Blue and Carbon Black.
The company also launched Redmi 7A 5.45 inch HD smartpone, an overall upgrade over Redmi 6A, with two years warranty for the first time featuring powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset, 4000mAh battery, 12MP camera sensor, 5MP front camera, dual SIM cards with VoLTE capabilities. Redmi 7A is available in Matte Black, Matte Blue and Matte Gold colour variants in Rs 5799 and Rs 6199 price range. (AGENCIES)
