JAMMU, Sept 9: Senior PDP leader, Vijay Kumar Bawa laid the foundation stone of the kitchen and shed at Baba Chamliyal in Ramgarh area of Samba district today.
While addressing the gathering Bawa said that for this PDP MLC Yashpal Sharma released the amount of Rs. 5 lakh from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF). He said that it was the long pending demand of the people of the area and that a large number of devotees used to come to Baba Chamliyal for the darshan every year. He said that people who are suffering from the skin diseases visit here and take Shakkar which is considered to have healing properties against the different skin ailments.
He said there was no sitting arrangement for the devotees and this shed will be used as a shelter for the devotees and also for organising langer facility over there.
Baba also complimented Yashpal Sharma for this great initiative and said the Coalition Government will take care of the people of the area.
Others who were present included Ramesh Choudhary, Lambardar Bahadur Singh, Vijay Kumar, Tarsem Kumar, Balbir Singh Ravi Kumar Darshan Kumar etc.
