JAMMU, Oct 26: YCC Bhalessa Cricket Club registered convincing win over KC Academy (KCA) Club in the ongoing 6th Eid-Diwali Milan T20 Cricket Cup, being played at KC School ground, here.
The tournament in which 12 teams are participating is being organized jointly by Simula Club, KC Sports Club and J&K Sports Promoters Club.
Earlier, batting first, YCC Bhalessa scored 135 runs in the stipulated 20 overs for loss of 6 wickets, with Rakesh (66), Uttam (20) and Aarif (10) being the main scorers. From bowling Side, Uttkarsh took 2 wickets, while Nitin, Aryan and Youdha claimed 1 wicket each.
KC Academy Club, in reply made 117 runs in 17.4 overs, thus lost the match by 19 runs. Youdha (25), Shantu (20) and Rohit (16) were the main scorers. From bowling side, Aarif and Ashraf took 3 wickets each and Uttam bagged 2 wickets. Aman and Sahil claimed 1 wicket each. Rakesh Sharma was declared as the man of the match.
The match was officiated by Sandeep and Sanju.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Nagrota Youngsters will take on Khalsa Cricket Club at 9 am, while Singh Akhnoor will face YWWC at 1.30 pm.
