JAMMU, June 13: The celebration of uniqueness and unabated frenzy of Tech Fest “NIRVIKALPA-2K15″concluded at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET).
The Tech fest had a number of captivating events in three categories– Abhivyakti, Kotuhaal and Ekagra, each displaying its uniqueness and intensity.
A number of events, technical, cultural, sports and other fun activities were organised.
The technical Quiz ‘Serie de Questions’ was an intellectually stimulating competition that witnessed an amazing performance from different teams. Technical Events like Short Circuit, De Bugg, tested the technical knowledge, skills and superior applications of contenders in the fray.
Sports Competition like Run Your Mind (A Chess Game) tested the mental nimbleness, strategic planning and execution of the participants.
NPL a modified, shorter version of Cricket with just four players and one over to bowl and Push Up won thunderous applause from the spectators.
Treasure Hunt and Udghosh-The Laser Show thrilled the hilarious gathering. The cultural events Ek Kahani, Pratibha and Song Converter were a connoisseur’s delight. Other fun events Test Drive, Tug of War, Just in Sixty Seconds, Canal Jump, Bollywood Chilly and the like found favorites among the many. The immaculate Fashion Show was superbly performed by the students.
YCET emerged as an overall winner in different competitions and events.
The chief guest of the valedictory function was Dr Meenakshi Kilam, Director, Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance, University of Jammu. Er Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI, Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, JGEI, and Er Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI were also present.
Earlier, Dr Seema Narain, Director, YCET presented the welcome address, whereas in the end, Coordinator of the Tech Fest, Er Neeraj Pandita, presented the vote of thanks.
