JAMMU, Feb 11: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized a spiritual orientation programme for the faculty members, staff and students in joint collaboration with Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, here today.
Swami Shradha Nanda Giri Ji, Senior Monk of ‘Yogoda Satsanga Society of India’ Ranchi, Jharkhand graced the occasion with his magnanimous presence and delivered sermon on the topic ‘Law of Success’.
He was accompanied by Brahmachari Gyan Nanda Ji and Brahmachari Dhairya Nanda Ji.
Swami Giri Ji, an alumnus of Mumbai University in Nuclear Physics, in his inspirational discourse, explained that man is bound by actions in this phenomenal world. While the divine is all pervasive, man is failing to recognize it. He spoke eloquently on liberation of man from his three fold suffering-physical diseases, mental in harmonies and spiritual ignorance-through scientific Yoga techniques.
The highest of these techniques is Kriya Yoga, through which consciousness is drawn to higher levels of awareness, bringing about a gradual inner awakening and lasting happiness -the ultimate goal of success.
Er Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI, Dr Seema Narain, Director, YCET, Prof JR Dhotra, Director IMS and senior faculty members were present on the occasion.
