UDHAMPUR, Oct 23: District Udhampur Yoga Championship concluded at Subash Stadium, here today.
Sudesh Kumar Chalotra, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed the medals and certificates among the Yoga players.
The Championship was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Yoga Association under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council.
In 8 to 11 years girls, Prashi Devi, Parul Rathore and Tashvi Dubey claimed gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in 8 to 11 years boys, gold and silver medals were bagged by Munish Sharma and Sumit Sharma respectively. In 11-14 girls, Sunakshi won gold, Sunil Singh bagged silver and Lachpat Raj clinched bronze, while in 11-14 boys, Rajinder Singh won gold.
In 14-17 boys, Avinash Bharti, Ajay Kumar and Vishal Singh won gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in 17-21 boys, Sudesh Kumar and Rakesh Singh bagged gold and silver respectively.
Shamsher Singh clinched gold in 23-35 years boys.
