JAMMU, Mar 19: Young Blood CC got better of Agore Cricket Club by 46 runs in the ongoing 1st Bharat Rattan Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Open Cricket Tournament, being played at Parade Ground, here today.
Batting first, Young Blood CC scored158 runs by losing six wickets. Himanshu scored 46 runs, whereas Pavitar made 37runs and Abhishek contributed 22 runs. From bowling side, Vikrant was the wrecker in chief who took four wickets while Suresh two wickets.
In reply, Agore CC bundled at112 in 17.4 overs. Abhishek made highest 22 runs while Ranjeet and Nakshtr contributed 14 runs each. From bowling side, Munish bagged three wickets while Aashim and Varinder shared two wickets each.
The tournament is being organized by Northern Cricket Club under the supervision of Ashwani Sharma, chairman of the Club.
