SAMBA, Apr 16: Young Heroes Hockey Club, Hiranagar and Patel Chowk Hockey Club, Punjab outplayed their respective opponents and sailed into the next round of the ongoing hockey tournament, being organised by Young Heroes Hockey Club at mini stadium, Hiranagar, here today.
In the first match, Young Heroes Hockey Club Hiranagar trounced Malikpur Sports Club by a huge margin of 6-1 and advanced to the next round.
In the second match, Patel Chowk Club, Punjab routed Rising Star Hockey Club, Hiranagar by 4-1 goals and registered berth in the next stage of the tournament.
During first match, Rakesh Sharma, retd Chief Accounts Officer, was the chief guest, whereas, in the second match, Advocate Vijay Sharma was the chief guest, while Patron in Chief Jaswant Singh, was also present.
