UDHAMPUR, June 15: Under mysterious circumstances, a young man was found hanging in the house of his in-laws at village Surni in Ramnagar.
According to the police report, Mulkh Raj (33), son of Balia Bhagat, resident of village Rassain, Tehsil Ramnagar, was found hanging in cattle shed adjoining the house of his in-laws where he had gone last evening.
In- laws of the deceased told Police that Mulkh Raj had come there last evening to take his wife back to house but they refused as he was under influence of liquor. Thereafter, they claimed, he left the house and in the morning his body was found hanging in the cattle shed.
On being informed, a Police team from Police Station Ramnagar, led by Incharge SHO Deepak Sharma, reached the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the postmortem. After completion of all the legal formalities, the body was handed over the family members for last rites while a case under section 174 CrPC has been registered in this for the further investigation.
