17th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tourney

JAMMU, Dec 14: Young Rovers FC defeated Jammu United FC by a huge margin of 13-01 in the ongoing 17th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament-2023 here today.
The tournament has been organised by All J&K Sports and Cultural Welfare Association under the aegis of J&K Football Association (DFA, Jammu) with collaboration of J&K Sports Council at Mini Stadium Ground Parade Jammu.
Chief Guest of the day was Sunil Kesar (DySP) who was accompanied by Anil Masoom (Ex-Municipal Councillor), Ramesh Chander (International Player), Varinder Gupta, Ashok Sharma and others.
In the 1st half five goals were scored by Amanjyot, two goals scored by Anmat of Young Rovers FC and only goal scored by Sumit of Jammu for United FC while in the 2nd half one goal was scored by Omack, two goals were scored by Tsering, two goals scored by Abhimanyu and one goal was scored by Amajyot of Young Rovers FC Meanwhile, in the second game of the day between Young Hero’s FC and Nagrota FC, Young Hero’s won the match by 2-0.
