JAMMU, Sept 8: Young Warriors Cricket Club defeated Tiger Cricket Club by a narrow margi of 6 runs in the ongoing Hyundai Indoor Under-16 Boys Cricket Tournament at KC Sports Club, here today.
Earlier, Young Warrior Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat first.
Batting first, Young Warrior Club scored 72 runs in 16 overs. Tazim, Akshat and Harshit scored 21, 16 and 12 runs respectively. For Tiger Club, Ansh and Rihan took 3 wickets each, while Arihant took 1 wicket.
In reply, Tiger Cricket Club bundled out for 66 runs in 15.2 overs and lost the match. Samarth scored 19 runs, while Savirya scored 16 runs and Arihant made 12 runs. For Young Warrior, Hanzala took 4 wickets, while Devatas and Pranav took 2 wickets each. The final match of the Tournament will be played on September 10, 2015
At the end of the match players practiced with the bola bowling machine to improve their reflexes under the supervision of YSCE coaches.
