JAMMU, Mar 20: Dogra Youth activists under the leadership of Partap Singh Jamwal and Bhanu Partap Goria staged a protest demonstration against the Government and JDA for the construction of a playground near the 4th Bridge Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
They were chanting slogans against the Government and JDA such as “Khelo India Ka Vadha Khokhala Hai Khokhala Hai” and “We want Playground” and demanded immediate construction of the playground to promote sports culture in Jammu.
Goria regretted that the land allotted for the playground has turned into a filthy place where the garbage of the adjacent areas is being dumped and alleged that nobody from the BJP seems bothered to pay attention towards it.
Partap Singh Jamwal said that the ground as a playground had already been proposed in 79th Board of Directors meeting of JDA but till date nothing has been done to construct a full-fledged playground.
