SAMBA, June 5: A migrant laborer committed suicide by hanging himself with a tree outside of his Jhuggi at village Rajpura Colony No. 2, of sector Ghagwal in district Samba today.
According to the sources, the incident took place during late last night. He was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances outside his Jhuggi at village Rajpura Colony No 2, this morning. Local people spotted the body hanging with a tree and they immediately informed to police. After getting the information police party reached on the spot and took the body into its custody and shifted it to nearby hospital for autopsy.
Police said, the deceased has been identified as Anku, 26, son of Tharu Ram resident of Chhattishgar at present in village Colony No 2, Rajpura in district Samba. He was working as labourer.
Cause behind this extreme step could not be ascertained while police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
