Youth Cong holds convention

LEH, Oct 31: District youth Congress Leh, organized a major youth convention at Skara Community Hall Leh- which was chaired by Dr Uma Shankar Pandey – Secretary Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and Pranav Shagotra – President  J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC).
MLA Leh & CLP leader Nawang Rigzin Jora was the chief guest. The convention was also attended by Tsering Samphel DCC President Leh, Sheeshpal Kheda IYC Secretary, Rajveer Singh Vice President Pradesh Youth Congress, Anley councilor Thupstan Angchuk who is also the – General Secy Pradesh Youth Congress, Tsering Namgyal DYC President Leh, councilor Tsering Norboo, councilor Gurmet Dorjey,  Eshay Lamo President Mahila Youth Congress, Capt Tsepel Sewa Dal President and attended by a large number youth leaders and workers, ex-Sarpanches from all corners of Leh district.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Uma Shanker Pandey and Pranav Shagotra highlighted the need to strengthen the Youth cadre of Leh district and appreciated the youths in turning out in large numbers despite cold conditions. Both of them strongly condemned the failure of the both BJP Govt. at Centre and PDP-BJP Government to look after the welfare of the common man on the street.
In his address MLA Leh, Nawang Rigzin Jora highlighted in details the weaknesses of the BJP Government and said that people of the country are now realizing the true face of BJP expressing hope that this “ JUMLA Government” will not last long.
Mahila Youth Congress Leader Eshay Lamo, expressed shock and anguish on the fact that the present BJP Government has been turned into a  ”LINK-KARO Government only” as they have only focused on forcing the common man to link their Aadhaar number with bank accounts, ration card, mobile no, driving license etc etc…
Besides IYC Secy.Sheeshpal kheda, JKPYC  Vice President Rajveer Singh, JKPYC General Secretary & sitting Councilor Anley Thupstan Angchuk,  Capt Tsepel President Sewa Dal Leh,  DYC Youth leaders Nawang Lotus and Jorgais Atisha also spoke on the occasion.
