UDHAMPUR, July 11: In separate incidents, a youth died under mysterious circumstances at Ramnagar while a young housewife attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at the house of her in-laws at Flata, here today.
Reports said that Sachin Kumar (24), son of Ramabtar of Mahu in Uttar Pradesh, presently putting up at Ramnagar, was brought to the District Hospital Udhampur by his family members in an unconscious condition, this morning. However, doctors declared him as brought dead.
Cause of death could not be ascertained as family members of the deceased said that he had complained of stomach pain. Police has registered the case under Section 174 RPC for further investigation in this regard.
One Rupa Devi (29), wife of Santosh of Flata near GRIF Camp Udhampur, consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances. Family members shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur and her condition was stated to be stable.
Cause of provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection.
