JAMMU, Sept 1: A 20-year-old youth died of suspected poisoning here at Bishnah area of the District.
Police said Atul Sharma son of Romesh Kumar of Khojipur, Bishnah, reportedly consumed some poisonous substance at his home.
He was taken to a local hospital in Bishnah where the team of doctors referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu. He was declared brought dead at the hospital, said police
A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and further investigation taken up.
