KATHUA, Aug 29: A youth died in mysterious circumstance at his residence village Patyari, Kathua late last night. He was cremated early this morning by his family members in a field.
As per reports a youth identified as Jadu, 22, son of Dharam Pal, resident of village Patyari , Kathua died mysteriously during the night. The family members could not ascertain the cause of his death and gave vague statements. They cremated the body in a field early this morning as the family said that the reason of a marriage in their close relationship was the cause to cremate the body in wee hours.
Some of villagers raised finger over mysterious death. Whereas after getting the information, police team from Nagari Police Post rushed to the village and started investigation into the matter. The police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of the law, Additional SP Kathua, Ramnish Gupta said.
He said police has started investigation to ascertain the reasons behind the death of the youth and cremation of his body in wee hours.
