UDHAMPUR, Mar 7: An 18-year old youth was found hanging with ceiling fan hook at the house of his maternal uncle at Kambal Danga, under the jurisdiction of Rehambal Police Station, here today.
According to the police report, Harish Kumar, son of Vijay Kumar of village Khoduya, had come to house of his maternal uncle at Kambal Dangha where he was found hanging from ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances.
The family member saw him hanging and immediately called the Police, which rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem and other legal formalities. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be immediately ascertained while Rehambal Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
