RAJOURI, Dec 19: The police arrested an impersonator from the examination hall at Govt Higher Secondary School, Kunderdan, Gambhir Muglan in Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that a police party led by DySP Manjakote, Ramnish Gupta and SHO Mehmood, raided the exam center and nabbed the impersonator Shahid Ahmed, son of Mohd Yousuf, resident of Gambir Muglan. He was appearing in the 10th class examination (bi-annual) in place of his younger brother –Aijaz Ahmed. The police arrested the accused and also held two teachers for questioning. They were searching for the absconding Aijaz Ahmed. A case under Section 119/420 RPC has been registered in this connection. The police said it was not possible without the connivance of the invigilators.
