SAMBA, Dec 15: A villager was knocked to death by a large trailer (Tralla) on the National Highway in the town here last night.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place when 22-year-old Sumit Bhatti, son of Girdhari Lal Bhatti , resident of Chak Manga was crossing road last night. He was hit by Tralla bearing registration No. HR38M/2642. He was rushed to district hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. The police has registered a case in this connection.
