JAMMU, July 8: A young man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence at Rajpura Magotrian in City outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth has been identified as Naresh Kumar (21) son of Chuni Lal Sharma, a resident of Rajpura, Magotrian. “He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition is stated to be stable”, he added.
However, it was not known why he took this extreme step.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
