RAJOURI, Aug 2: The dead body of a youth was found hanging from a tree under suspicious circumstances at Darman village falling under Budhal Police Station.
Official sources said an information was received from local people of the village that a youngman’s body was hanging from the tree. The police immediately reached the spot and took the dead body in possession and shifted it to the hospital.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Khurshid, son of Zakir Hussain, resident of Darman. Seeing the dead body of his son, the father of the deceased, who lost his control has demanded a fair investigation into the matter, terming it as a case of murder.
Zakir and other relatives told that their son was missing from the house since Sunday and was hanged from a tree by someone. The police have registered a case under section 174 CrPC and handed over the body to the family after post-mortem. The police has started further investigation.
