DODA, July 3: Taking forward its legacy in promotion of sports activities in the region after 15 successful Gufran National Level Cricket Championships, Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda is holding five day long All India Gufran Global Coaching Camp at Doda from August 25, 2024.
First of its kind in the Chenab region, the five days coaching camp will be held exclusively for different age groups (U-12, U-14, U-16, U-19 and U-22).
Patron YSCC Doda, Manzoor Ahmed Batt along with other officials, officially declared nomination of Prof Zaheer Abbas Hashmi as Chief Executive Officer of the Coaching Camp.
Batt informed that the camp shall be conducted at Doda’s Sports Stadium where certified coaches and reputed International Cricketer & Fitness Trainers will provide comprehensive cricket training to students & young cricketers of different age groups with the aim to inculcate budding cricketers with nuances of the game from young age. The main purpose of the camp is to nurture young cricketers of this region.
Chairman YSCC, Naseer Khora has appealed to all the young cricketers and Head of Institutions to encourage their students to participate in this transformative event, which will not only enhance their cricketing skills but also instill discipline, teamwork and passion towards sports activities.
