JAMMU, Feb 5: Youth Talent Search Forum (YTSF), a forum of prestigious private schools in Jammu celebrated its 13th Annual Prize Distribution Function at Police Auditorium Gulshan Ground, here today.
YTSF a pioneer organization established in 2001 is a platform where young minds are provided with a comprehensive academic curriculum support by a system of instructions that encourages the thought process and reasoning which would gear children to be logical, analytical, critical, creative, innovative and communicative.
Director School Education, Tushar Kanti Sharma was the chief guest, while Tarsem Lal, Chief Education Officer was the guest of honour and DIG Jammu, Shakeel Beig was the special guest.
Mr Tushar Kanti lauded the YTSF for playing such a pivotal role with a visionary approach towards the all-round and balanced development of the students in a very democratic manner.
Earlier, the programme started with lightning of ceremonial lamp and welcome address by Kiran Raina, Principal JK Police Public School, Miran Sahib.
The cultural programme presented by students mesmerized the audience.
The annual report was presented by the General Secretary of YTSF, Easther Williams, Principal of Alexander Memorial School, Jammu.
Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib was declared the leading school with maximum prizes and its Principal Satvinder Saini was congratulated for her efforts and endeavour.
The vote of thanks was presented by Shashi Sharma, Principal Bikram Memorial School Jammu.
Prabha Jain, President YTSF was also present on the occasion.
