SRINAGAR, Sept 10: Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi today inaugurated a modern physiotherapy rehabilitation centre at JRC Home for Handicapped, Udheywala, here.
The home has been dedicatedly working for the cause of care and rehabilitation of physically challenged.
The physio centre would go a long way in serving the orthopedically handicapped patients and would ensure early recovery.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir said that Jammu Red Cross and the management of the home are doing a yeoman’s service for the welfare of those who are physically challenged and have to face hardships. He said the homely atmosphere being provided to the inmates ensures early recovery and proper rehabilitation.
“I am impressed to see the facilities and would see that in future also positive contributions are made for the benefit of the home inmates,” he added.
While interacting with the hostel children, Yudhvir inquired about the facilities being provided and assured full support to the JRC home for the handicapped.
He also took the responsibility to refurnish a hostel room for the girls with modern facilities. The room would be refurbished with modern gadgets and furniture for the benefit of girl students, he added.
