JAMMU, Nov 5: Yuvraj Singh B team defeated Yuvraj Singh A team by 3 wickets in the match of Bilateral Cricket Series which got underway at KC Sports Club, here today.
The match was played in the air-conditioned Indoor Cricket Hall with 9 pitches, 5 fast and 4 spin pitches with surface of 16000 sq. ft.
The Tiger Turf surface imported from New Zealand and ideally suited for both pace and spin bowling as well as for batting. Automatic Bola bowling machine is also available for batting practice.
Earlier, Yuvraj Singh A team won the toss and decided to bat first.
Batting first, they scored 83 runs in 15 overs. Harshit, Devvasth, Samarth and Akshit contributed 30, 20, 18 and 12 runs respectively. From Yuvraj B,  Pranav and Harshvardan took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Yuvraj Singh ‘B’ chased the target of 84 easily in 14.3 overs and won the match by 3 wickets. Prabal was the top scorer with 45 runs, while Uttakrash, Vardaan and Savirya made 13, 12 and 10 runs respectively. From Yuvraj Singh A team, Arihant and Harshit took 2 wickets each, while Devats and Jaywant claimed one wicket each.
At the end of the match, the players practiced with the bola bowling machine to improve their reflexes under the supervision of YSCE coaches.
