POONCH, Oct 13: In the 33rd Poonch District Table Tennis Championship, Zeeshan clinched the cadet boys title and Ashley won the cadet girls title here today.
The other results of the tournament were (Cadet Boys) Zeeshan defeated Adnan (11-5,11-6), Yuvraj Luthra beat Yuvraj Suri (11-4,11-6), Bilawal beat Amaan (11-7,5-11,11-4), Mashooq beat Ayaan (11-3,6-11,11-5), Zeeshan beat Bilawal (11-2,11-9), Yuvraj Luthra beat Mashooq (8-11,11-6,11-7) and Zeeshan beat Yuvraj Luthra in the final (11-4,10-12,11-4,12-10).
In cadet girls; Ashley beat Sirat (11-1, 11-7), Sunakshi beat Roshni (11-8, 11-6), Ashley beat Sunakshi (11-6, 11-4,11-6) in the final. In Sub Junior Boys, Zeeshan beat Daisal (11-8,11-6), Ashutosh got walk over, Asnan beat Ayaan (11-9,4-11,11-7), Yuvraj Luthra beat Adnan (11-7,11-4), Ashutosh beat Zeeshan (11-9,11-7) while in Junior Girls; Arushika beat Tajkiran (11-2,11-5) and Ashley beat Ammara (11-8,11-9).
