JAMMU, July 31: Zonal Level Inter School competitions in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Cricket and Wrestling concluded at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Bakshi Nagar, here.
The competitions were organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu, under the supervision of Chanchal Kour, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu. Ravi Manhas, ZPEO Jammu and Tarsem Lal, ZPEO Dansal were the Organising Secretaries of the event.
A total of 334 players drawn from various schools participated in the event.
In Kho-Kho final, GHSS Jindrah trounced GHSS Canal Road by 3 points (8-5), while in Kabaddi summit clash, GGHSS Nagrota Kandoli defeated GGHSS Jindrah by 4 points (7-3).
In Volleyball, GHSS Boys Nowabad was declared as the winner.
