UDHAMPUR, July 31: The Zonal Level School Games were held today at Bharatiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) Higher Secondary School Udhampur, Nainsu. Six schools participated in the event, including BVM Nainsu, BVM Katra, BVM Reasi, BVM Thathi, BVM Ramnagar, and Vidhya Peeth Battal Balliyan, Udhampur.
The competitions featured a variety of sports, including Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Badminton, Volleyball, and Chess. A total of 102 participants showcased their skills and sportsmanship in the tournament.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Shiv Kumar Sharma, President of the School Management Committee. The chief guest addressed the participants, encouraging them to adopt sports as a key part of their lifestyle and advised them to stay away from drugs.
The event highlighted the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and healthy living among students. The tournament concluded with participants and schools being acknowledged for their enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
