REASI, May 6: The Zonal Level Inter-School Tournament of Mahore Zone for Under-14 and Under-17 boys and girls in the disciplines of kabaddi, kho-kho, wrestling and volleyball organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Reasi, began here today.
The Tournament was inaugurated by SDM Mahore, Subash Chander Dogra.
District Sports Officer Reasi, Dr SS Chib, Principal HSS Mahore, JK Raina, members of PRIs and a large number of locals were also present on the occasion.
Dr Chib informed that a total of 124 students drawn from 7 Government and Private Schools of the zone are participating in the tournament.
Meanwhile, in kabaddi under-14 boys, Peer Panchal High School trounced MS Mahore, while in kabaddi boys under-17 years, HSS Mahore drubbed Peer Panchal High School Mahore.
The under-14 boys kho-Kho title went to Peer Panchal High School Mahore, which drubbed Mountaineering Convent School Mahore in the title clash and the under-17 boys Kho Kho tille went to HSS Mahore.
