DODA, May 18: The Zonal Level inter-school tournaments of Gundna zone, organized by the department of Youth Services and Sports, Doda concluded at Government Higher Secondary School Mohalla, here today.
The tournaments which were organized under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Doda witnessed enthusiastic participation of students.
The sports events included volley ball, kabaddi, kho-kho and wrestling in the age group of U-14 and U-17 Boys and Girls.
During the concluding ceremony, Principal Higher Secondary School Mohalla was the chief guest.
In Boys U/17 kabaddi Govt H. S Khankote defeated Govt. H.S Barshalla by 6 points, in Boys U/17 kho-kho Govt. H S Barshalla drubbed Govt Hr Sec School Mohalla by a margin of 1 point, in Boys U/14 kho-kho Govt. M S Battal defeated Govt. M. S Dewal by 7 points, in girls U/14 kho-kho Govt M S Battal thrashed Govt. M S Dongro by 3 points.
The matches were officiated by Shashi Kant PEM, Nirmal Singh PEM, Raj Kumar PEM, Mohan Singh PEM, Rajni Devi PET, Ravi Kumar PET and Satish Chander PET.
