REASI, Dec 22: Zorawar Cricket Club Reasi and Katra Cricket Club got better of their rivals in the ongoing T20 Tournament, being organized by Reasi Police, under the supervision of Tahir Sajad Bhat SSP Reasi, under JKP’s Civic Action Programme, here today.
In the first match, Zorawar Cricket Club defeated Kalka Cricket Club by 8 wickets. Batting first, Kalka Club scored 128 runs in 15 overs. Vinu and Anil contributed 40 and 37 runs respectively. Nitin and Shadab took one wicket each for Zorawar Club.
In reply, Zorawar Cricket Club achieved the target in 13 overs by losing 2 wickets to win the match by 8 wickets. Movein top scored with 53 runs, while Rahil and Nitin contributed 30 and 20 runs respectively. Kundal and Gautam were the wicket takers for Kalka Club. Movein was adjudged as man of the match.
In another match, Katra Cricket Club defeated Mahore Cricket Club by 6 wickets. Mahore scored 146 runs, while Katra Club achieved the target in 14 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Sunny Malik scored 101 runs for the losers, while Ankush and Darshan contributed 42 and 36 runs for the winners. Ankush was declared as man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Mohd Ashraf and Balbir Singh as umpires, while Senior Citizen Ghulam Nabi alik and Advocates Server Mir were the chief guests in first and second match respectively.
