JAMMU, Jan 3: Zorawar Hockey Club, Satwari lifted the title trophy of Hockey J&K Tournament (under 19), being organized by Hockey J&K at KK Hakku Stadium here today.
In the final match, Zorawar Hockey Club crushed MBS Hockey Club, Makhanpur, Simbal Camp by 8-3 goals.
From Zorawar Club side, the goals were scored by Harveer, Harpreet Singh, Harsh Vaid, Amarjeet Singh, Shivag Vaid, Lakhwinder Singh and Harsh Vaid.
The match was officiated by Joginder Singh, JS Bali, JS Reen, Charanjeet Singh, GS Bakshi and MS Reen.
On the valedictory function, Shamsher Singh Manhas, National Executive Member of BJP, New Delhi was the chief guest, who presented the coveted trophy to the winning team in presence of Ranjeet Kalra, member, J&K State Sports Council, Rajinder Singh, treasurer, Romal Singh, general secretary, Hockey J&K, Gurjeet Singh, SE (Electric), HS Reen, Bal Krishan, Niranjan Singh, Manmohan Pal Singh, Tejinder Singh, member, Hockey J&K and Popinder Singh.
