JAMMU, Dec 20: National Institute of Technology Hamirpur H.P. organised its 7th convocation recently. About 500 students were awarded degrees and about 20 students got gold medals for topping in their respective branches.
Four students from J&K got their M.Tech degrees, Zubair Iqbal Sheikh S/o Mohd Iqbal Sheikh & Shabira Begum R/o Village Malothi Tehsil Bhaderwah District Doda brought proud to the people of J&K by getting gold medal in M.Tech Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from Governor of Himachal Pradesh Urmilla Singh, who was the guest of honour.He scored 8.69 on 10 point scale.
Zubair is currently working as Junior Engineer in J&K State Power Development Corporation.
