RAJOURI, Apr 13: The police recovered 1.5 kg of more heroin from Makri village near LoC in Nowshera from the smugglers who were caught few days ago.
A police spokesman said that on checking the vehicles of three notorious smugglers caught with the consignment of heroin that came from across the Line of Control in Makri area of Nowshera sub division of Rajouri district, the police have recovered one and a half kilograms more heroin while now the quantity of heroin seized is 10 kg, whose value in the international market is said to be more than Rs 40 crore.
Police said that while taking their investigation forward, the police obtained information about the vehicles of the three arrested notorious smugglers and seized the vehicles of those three which include a Tata Bolero, a Tipper and a Taxi and searched them. During this, one and a half kilogram of heroin was seized from those three vehicles. Moreover one minor against whom FIR was registered is still absconding.
