SRINAGAR, June 18: One person has died, while two others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said Syed Altaf Hussain son of Syed Mohammad Iqbal of Laderwan who was injured in a road mishap at Tikker Kupwara on Sunday succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura on Tuesday evening.
A passenger, Aashiq Nazir son of Zamir Ahmed Itoo of Kadipora Pakherpora was injured when he fell from the roof top of a passenger vehicle JK13/2793 at Zadoora in Pulwama. He has been shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment, the spokesman said.
In a collision between a Maruti car JK22/4763 and an Alto car JK13B/7457 at Shalinar Babapora in Shopian, a woman, Jabeena daughter of Abdul Aziz Wagay of Homhuna Nagbal was injured. She has been shifted to a hospital.
The spokesman said police has filed cases in these accidents.
