Srinagar, July 23: One person was killed while two others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a tipper JK02AJ-6801 hit a pedestrian Bashir Ahmad Shah son of Ghulam Mohammad of Wani Mohalla Mandak Pal at Putlabur in Khrew, Pampore resulting in his on spot death.
An LP truck JK05A/6065 rolled down at Khudpora Nard in Karnah resulting in injuries to Abdul Qayoom Awan son of Mohammad Younis Awan of Nawagabra, Karnah. The injured was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Maruti car JK01N/9932 driven by Shakeel Ahmed Magray son of Ghulam Nabi of Thune collided with a Figo car JK16/2485, resulting in injuries to the Maruti car driver. He was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
