Srinagar, May 31: A minor girl died, while three others were injured in two separate road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesperson said that a tipper, JK04A 9364, hit a motorcycle at village Haji Lawpora in Beerwah town of district Budgam, leaving a minor girl dead and two others injured.
“In this accident the motorcyclist Tashooq Ahmed Malla son of Abdul Rashid Malla of Hard Malpora, his four-year-old daughter Maymoona got injured and the other two-year-old daughter, Arbeena died on spot.
The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said the driver identified as Hafiz-ul-lah Rehman son of Mohammad Ashraf of Banihal has been arrested.
An Alto car, JK03 6184, hit and injured a pedestrian, Reyaz Ahmed Dar son of Gulzar Ahmed Dar of Batengoo near Uranhall crossing in South Kashmir’s Anantnag. The injured was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
