Srinagar, June 3: One person has died while six others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a truck, JK08A/6267, hit a pedestrian Roshan Koli son of Israil Koli of Malwan near Jawahar Tunnel in Qazigund, Kulgam, resulting in his on spot death.
Five persons were injured when a tipper hit an Auto, JK05A/6246 at Wataporam in Bandipora. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Duster car JK01T/3222 hit and injured a pedestrian at Wangipora near petrol pump in Sumbal, Bandipora. The injured was shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
