1 dies, 7 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, May 21: One person died and seven others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
A police spokesperson said that Nazir Ahmad Teli son of Ghulam Mohammad of Sher Bagh while riding his motorcycle bearing registration number JK05C/2659 skidded off the road at Wasikhan, Rakh e Asham, resulting in his injuries. He was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries
An unidentified Motorcycle hit another Motorcycle bearing registration number JK03B/9451 near Iqbal Abad, K.P Road, Anantnag, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Nissar Ahmad Drangi, 37, son of Mohammad Ahsan of Adlach, Srigufwara. The injured has been shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05D/523 of Mudasir Ahmad resident of Kakarhama Baramulla hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Qadir Bhat, 60 son of Ghulam Mohammad of Pattan at Bazaar Pattan, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK16/3264 hit and injured a Cyclist Mohammad Shafi Bhat, 28 son of Abdul Ahad of Baroosa Ganderbal at Duderhama, Ganderbal.
An accident took place between Tata 407 bearing registration number JK01N/6866 and tipper bearing registration number JK16/2654 at Wayil Bridge Nunar, near Fisheries Hut, Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to three passengers.
A Trailer bearing registration number PB01N/5873 loaded with FCI Rice on way from Jammu to Srinagar rammed into a Chinar tree at Pazalpora, Anantnag, resulting in injuries to the driver of the Trailer Deepak son of Ram Lubiya of Himachal Pradesh.
