UDHAMPUR, Oct 5: Udhampur Police today arrested a drug peddler and seized one kg poppy straw (Bhukki) from his possession.
The accused, namely Farid Ahmad, son of Mohd Yousaf of Dudar Nallah Darsoo Udhampur was apprehended near High School Roun Dhar. During search, one kg poppy straw from recovered from his possession.
Police arrested the accused and seized the recovered Poppy straw. In this connection, a case FIR number 510/2018 under section 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur.
