UDHAMPUR, Nov 30: One person died and two others were injured when a car, they were travelling in, rolled down into a deep gorge adjoining Link Road Kitther, near Chenani, here this evening.
According to the reports, the car bearing registration number JK14G-8812 was on its way from Chenani to Madha when driver lost control over the vehicle, which rolled down into deep gorge.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to Community Health Center (CHC) Chenani where doctors declared one of them as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Sanjay Kumar (30), son of Chuni Lal, resident of Kitther. The injured, namely Vikas Sharma (25), son of Romesh Sharma of Omara Morh Udhampur and Akshay Kumar Sharma (30) son Rajinder Sharma of Bakshi Nagar Jammu were referred to District Hospital Udhampur due to their serious condition.
