REASI, June 23: Driver of a load carrier died and two other persons sustained critical injuries when the vehicle plunged into deep gorge near Sonchil foot bridge at Dharmari, here today.
The load carrier, bearing registration number JK20C-0677, was on way from Sariel towards Dharmari when it met with the accident and fell around 200 feet deep gorge resulting into on the spot death of its driver Mubarakh Hussain, son of Mohd Munshi, resident of Dharmari.
Two other persons traveling in the load carrier, identified as Mohd Ashraf, son of Elim Din and Sajad Ahmed, son of Talib Hussain, both residents of Serial Sonchil, Tehsil Thuroo, got injured in the accident.
They were shifted to PHC Dharmari for treatment and their condition was stated to be stable.
