1 killed, 3 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, Sept 4:  One person was killed and three others were injured in different road accidents in state.
A police spokesman said a motorcycle bearing registration number JK10A/4418 driven by Jadahar Ganash Suresh resident of Mumbai Maharashtra while coming from Minu to Leh met with an accident at Taru Thang in Leh district, resulting in injuries to the driver. “The injured person was shifted to hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
The spokesman said a Tipper bearing registration number JK04A/8676 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13B/4766 driven by Shabir Ahmad Naikoo at Pujteng in Sangam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. He said the injured was shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Barzulla here for treatment.
In Shopian district, the spokesman said, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13A/2672 hit a pedestrian namely Khazir Mohammad Mugloo at Kellar, resulting in injuries to him. “The injured person was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the police spokesman added.
