SRINAGAR, Dec 24: Police today said a person was killed while four others were injured in three separate road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said a person namely Ghulam Mohammad Dar slipped and was critically injured after he fell from a bus bearing registration number JK13/4011 at Parimpora here. “The injured was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said 34 year-old Fayaz Ahmad Wani awas injured after he fell from a Tavera bearing registration number JK01M/5133 at Nowgam in Achabal area of Anantnag district. “The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
A Tata-407 bearing registration number JK05-3778 turned turtle on Zindri link Road at Bomai in Sopore area of Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to 2 passengers and driver of the vehicle. “All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman added.
