Srinagar, May 14: One person was killed, while four persons were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman a school bus, JK09/8248, hit and injured two boys, Wahid Firdous Wani, son of Firdous Ahmad Wani and Momin Manzoor, son of Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh of Chotipora, Handwara at Chotipora.
Wahid Firdous died on spot, while Momin Manzoor was shifted to a hospital for treatment, the spokesman said.
A Santro, JK03B/7768, hit a motorcycle driven by Arbaz Ahmad Rangrez of Lal Chowk, Anantnag, JK03A/3103, at Sarnal Anantnag. The spokesman said the motorcyclist got injured in this accident and was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
In another accident, an Esteem car, DL8CJ/9213, hit and injured a pedestrian, Altaf Hussain Shah of KP Road Anantnag. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
An unknown Motorcycle hit and injured a traffic head constable Ghulam Mohammad at Aloochi Bagh, Srinagar.The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
