UDHAMPUR, June 13: One person died and another got injured when a TATA 407 load carrier rolled down into a deep gorge near Pathi, here today.
According to the reports, the load carrier bearing registration number JK14B-1291 was on way from Lander to Udhampur when it rolled down about 150 feet deep gorge this morning around 6 am.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to Udhampur District Hospital where one of them was declared as brought dead. He was identified as Davender Singh (25) son of Baldave Singh of Lali Pancheri. The injured, namely Salander Singh (30) son of Pritam Singh of Laddha was responding to the treatment but his condition was also stated to be critical.
