JAMMU, Oct 31: Judicial Magistrate Billawar, Pooja Gupta today awarded one year imprisonment to a tractor driver in an accident case.
According to the police case, on September 17, 2009 an information was received at Police Post Ramkot that one tractor bearing registration No PB54C/5633 being driven by accused Raj Kumar from Barnota towards Gucha Kalyal hit a scooter which was being driven by Raj Mohd. In the accident, scooterist died on the spot.
Judicial Magistrate Billawar after hearing Senior PO JP Singh awarded one year imprisonment and fine of Rs 3000 to driver of tractor.
